DC Kohima notifies on sealed areas

Kohima, September 27 (MExN): Kohima Deputy Commissioner Gregory Thejawelie has notified sealing of 10 houses in locations around Kohima following the detection of COVID-19 positive cases in the areas.   The ‘sealed areas’ include a house in Zienuobadze Colony, one residential house near KMC Tata Parking in High School Colony, a house in Upper Bayavü Colony, Officers’ Hill Colony, New Minister’s Hill Colony, Lerie Colony and another in Potterlane. A house located in L Khel, Kohima village and two others in P Khel, Kohima Village were also demarcated as sealed areas. The DC’s order which was issued by the DIPR on Sunday stated that the houses were sealed in order to contain the spread of the infection and for necessary contact tracing. All movement of person/vehicles within the defined sealed area is strictly restricted/prohibited and under active surveillance with effect from the date of sealing, it added.
