DC Mkg assures polling station at Kangtsung Yimsen

Mokokchung: Brining relief to the villagers of Kangtsung Yimsen, who had to travel about six kilometers to cast their votes, DC Mokokchung, Muroho Chotso declared that a new polling station would be provided.

The DC Mokokchung made the declaration while addressing the villagers during his first official visit to the Kangtsung Yimsen recognized in 2012. Chotso said that the villagers of Kangtsung Yimsen would not need to travel on foot to Kangtsung Yimtiba to cast their vote after they get their own polling station.

Stating that Foothill road would be passing through Kangtsung Yimsen, he asked the villagers not to be a hindrance for the developmental work but support it. He said, “The village was privilege as it might become a model village or town and that economically it would be benefited.”

The DC exhorted the villagers to maintain cordial relationship with neighboring state Assam and with the administration for the betterment of the village. He visited the new site of the village PHC and GPS and assured the villagers of a new community building.

ADC Tuli, Sehjang Doungel, Tuli 21 A/C Congress ex-candidate S. Imti Jamir, I. Nungkum Pongen, chairman, Kangtsung Yimtiba and a host of dignitaries accompanied the DC Mokokchung during the visitation. Olemmar, chairman Kangtsung Yimsen chaired the programme.
