
Wokha, November 13 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner, Wokha, Orenthung Lotha on Saturday informed that as per the application received for claims and objections, the District Level Verification Committee has examined and verified the properties/structures owners and accordingly the final list of the affected structures/properties has been prepared for further payment.
In this regard, the DC Wokha has informed all the affected properties/structures owners that compensation of damage properties/structures for execution of widening of existing single/intermediate lane road to 2 lane road from KM 72.40 to KM 83.00 of NH-2 will be paid from the Deputy Commissioner, Conference Hall, Wokha at 9:30 am.

• Niropen Gate to Forest Colony: November 15 and 16
• Forest Colony to PWD Junction: November 17
• PWD Junction junction to IOC: November 18 and 20
• IOC to Zero Point junction: November 22 and 23
• Zero Point to Hammock Resort: November 24 and 25
The affected properties/landowners are directed to be present in person along with the following documents (Xerox copies). Identify proof (preferably Aadhar card/Driving License/PAN Card, etc), four copies passport photo, Bank Pass Book.
Rates for different buildings/structures have been worked out in reference to the Nagaland Public Works Departments schedule of Rates 2016. For vacant/open and other categories guidelines as prescribed by the Ministry of Environment Forest & Climate Change, Government of India has adopted for equal and fair and fair treatment. Further, land rates for different categories of land have been fixed as per notification NO.DCW/LR-15/NH-2 (B) 2019-20 /255 Dated Wokha the June 15, 2021.
Payment will be made only on Cheque and the amount will not be released to any representatives other than the concerned person. The village council Chairman/GBs/Colony chairman of the concerned villages /colonies are directed to be present to identify the landowners and as a counter signatory for the undertaking.
