Mokokchung, June 21 (MExN): The Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) on Monday wrote to the Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Nagaland, reminding him to deliver justice in the appointment of six research scientists for BSL Laboratory under the department. Earlier in February this year, the AKM had alleged “nepotism and favouritism” in the appointment of the Research Scientists on the grounds that “merit based selected candidates who were recommended for administrative approval” were left out and other new appointees were appointed to the posts. On June 21, it again reminded the minister that the organisation would not remain a silent spectator to such “objectionable acts” and demanded a written acknowledgement from the minister’s end.
