Dimapur, March 17 (MExN): The Dimapur Eastern Nagaland Students’ Union (DENSU) has condemned the alleged assault on a minor girl in Kohima. In a press release on Wednesday, the union stated that, “Such an evil act committed upon a 5 year girl child is intolerable and beyond one’s imagination and the same should be condemned by all.” It also appealed the district/state law enforcing agency to leave no stone unturned in the process of investigation while urging the court of law to conduct the trial in a fast track manner and award deterrent and befitting punishment to the accused persons.
Further, the union appealed all the citizens to “refrain from such vicious and malevolent acts which are not only against the law but also against humanity.”
