DIMAPUR, JULY 3 (MExN): In pursuance to Ministry of Women & Child Development envisaged in Section 4 of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, the Internal Committee (IC) has been made obligatory to be constituted in every workplaces/Directorate/NGOs/Autonomous body/ organisation to provide protection & redress complaints of sexual harassment cases against women in the State in the manner prescribed therein.
Towards this, the Department of Women Resources Development, Nagaland has requested all the departments under the State to take action accordingly and intimate this department at the earliest for onward submission to the Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India.
