Kohima, February 4 (MExN): Additional Development Commissioner, Nosazol Charles, in an office memorandum, has requested all the concerned departments to submit their proposal to Planning Department latest by February 25, failing which, the matter will be taken up with the highest authority for re-appropriation of funds which are yet to be utilized.
However, proposals for CSS, NEC, NLCPR, NESIDS and Negotiated Loan etc will be exempted, a DIPR report informed.
The Commissioner stated that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a delay in the implementation of the calendar of activities during 2020-21.
However, in order to avoid rush with proposals at the end of the financial year and taking into consideration the State Budget Session, the State Government has decided to have a deadline for submission of proposals to Planning Department for examination and clearance, it added.
