DGP Nagaland visits Molungyimsen village

Molungyimsen, November 8 (MExN): Director General of Police (DGP) Nagaland John Longkumer, IPS came for a pilgrimage to Molungyimsen on Novemebr 7 wherein he held a prayer meeting with the church leaders and village council members.

While interacting with the church leaders and village council members, the DGP said that he had come to Molungyimsen not as the DGP but in his personal capacity to seek God's guidance and blessings for him and also for his native village.

John Longkumer said that the main purpose for his pilgrimage to Molungyimsen village was to pray for a spiritual revival and harmony for his native village.

During his short stay, the DGP visited the litchi tree planted by Dr E W Clark, AKM monument which was inaugurated by the then Nagaland Governor Shyamal Dutta and Clark Museum at the Clark Light Tower which was constructed by J Bendang, IPS.

Molungyimsen village has been declared as a Naga Christian Pilgrimage and Educational Heritage Village by the Government of Nagaland.
