Minister Jacob Zhimomi donated two varieties of portable high frequency diagnostic X-rays machine to District Hospital Dimapur on June 7.
Dimapur, June 7 (MExN): Nagaland PHED Minister Jacob Zhimomi donated two varieties of portable high frequency diagnostic X-rays machine to District Hospital Dimapur on June 7.
The machine was handed over to Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur Rajesh Soundararajan and DHD deputy CMO, Dr Antoly Swu, informed a press release issued by the Media Cell PHED Minister.
While handling over the machine, Jacob said that the government has been extending all possible ways in containing the virus. He encouraged all to be careful and to stay positive so that we all can defeat the virus. Jacob also appealed the citizens of the state to follow the guidelines issued by the central and the state government for it’s the benefit of all the society. He encouraged all to get vaccinated without any doubt and said, “Being less effect is better than not being effective.”
Meanwhile, Deputy CMO thanking the minister said that the hospital did not have a portal X-ray and was much needed especially for the COVID patients. She mentioned that with the availability of the equipment it will be help in assisting the patients. The DC Dimapur who is also the chairman of District Task Force (DTF) also expressed gratitude to the minister for donating equipment which is of immediate requirement for the hospital.
