Kohima, September 19 (MExN): The Directorate of Health & Family Welfare (DH&FW), Nagaland on Monday issued a clarification on the concerns raised with regard to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland’s ‘Seva Pakhwada’ medical camp. As per the Department’s letter on September 17, “all CMOs and MSs were requested to cooperate and give assistance if required in the medical camp (which is in the interest of citizen’s health),” Principal Director Dr K Vikato Kinimi stated in a press release. “It was never the intention of the department to order the Staffs to organise the Medical Camp in favour of any party or organisation. Any untoward misunderstanding is regretted,” it added.
