Dimapur, April 12 (MExN): The 18th Thanksgiving Service of Bible Society of India, Dimapur Auxiliary was held at Manipur Baptist Convention Centre Church, Imphal (MBCCCI) on April 11.
According to updates from the BSI Auxiliary Secretary Rev Dr Yiepetso Wezah, more than 1,500 people representing 36 communities attended the programme. Six branches from Manipur State participated both in the thanksgiving service and branches seminar, it added.
On the occasion, Secretary of BSI Churachandpur Branch Rev Dr TK Muana shared the Word of God and stated that the BSI is one the most important mission societies, which supplies the Word of God to people. Stating that the Word of God is transformational, he challenged the believers to make Jesus happy by participating in the mission and ministry of the BSI.
BSI Dimapur Auxiliary acknowledged contributions of the branches and individuals for the FY 2020- 2021 and appreciation certificates were handover to them by President of Dimapur Auxiliary Rev Dr N Paphino, the updates stated. It also acknowledged BSI Imphal Branch for hosting the programme.
Meanwhile, the Auxiliary Secretary and Treasurer reports were presented and an insightful seminar was conducted for the office bearers of the branches after thanksgiving service, it added.
