Winners with dignitaries on November 6
Kohima, November 6 (MExN): The District-Level Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2027 was organised by MY Bharat–Niuland in coordination with Platinum College, Niuland, under the umbrella of the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) 2027 under the theme “One Nation, One Election.”
Manikanta, District Youth Officer, MY Bharat–Niuland, emphasised the importance of encouraging young people to develop leadership qualities, confidence and a sense of responsibility towards nation-building.
Limugha G Achumi secured the 1st position while Vipeni Zhimo and Alopeni stood 2nd and 3rd position respectively.
Under the “Encouragement Category,” Abigail Yimchunger, Jejang L and Holunla bagged 1st, 2nd and 3rd position respectively.
Rorheu Peseyie, Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil), Niuland, attended the event as as the Guest Speaker.
In his address, he highlighted that the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047 is both an idea and a national target, aimed at transforming India into a developed nation by the centenary of its independence.
He emphasised that achieving this vision requires the collective efforts, dedication and active participation of every citizen, particularly the youth.
The Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament initiative aims to empower young minds by strengthening their understanding of parliamentary practices, democratic institutions and national development, while encouraging them to become responsible leaders who can contribute towards achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047.
