Dimapur, May 25 (MExN): The Axis Bank Ltd branch at Purana Bazar Dimapur has been sealed for 48 hours with effect from May 25, by order of the Dimapur Deputy Commissioner and District Task Force Chairperson Rajesh Soundararajan.
According to the DC’s order, the branch has been sealed to take effective measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to facilitate necessary sanitization of the premises. Any person violating these containment measures will be penalized as per the provisions of Section 51 to 60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 besides legal action under Section 188 of thje Indian Penal Code, the order stated.
