Dimapur, May 29 (MExN): The Chief Medical Officer Dimapur Dr I Moatemjen along with District Surveillance Officer, Dr Kavito, Epidemiologists Dr Molung Jamir and Dr Kainyu Konyak, and Media Officer Kimnei visited New Piphema village and CHC Medziphema to monitor and supervise the ongoing COVID-19 activities on May 29.
A press release from the CMO office said that the team visited New Piphema village where random sample collection was carried out. Dr Moatemjen interacted with the village authorities and advised them on the measures required to be undertaken to prevent the spread of COVID-19 within the community. He also ensured that medical team will provide necessary support and guidance and urged the villagers to co-operate with the department.
The CMO also visited and inspected the CHC Medziphema to assess the progress of the upcoming COVID Care Center. The team reviewed the logistics and manpower required to convert the CHC into CCC. CMO also made a brief visit to the State Oxygen Depot at Police Complex Chümoukedima.
