Dimapur, May 26 (MExN): In view of detection of COVID-19 case in Fire Station Dimapur West, the Fire Station has been temporarily suspended from undertaking further emergency calls, till further order, the Directorate of Fire and Emergency Services informed on Wednesday.
The jurisdiction of the Station is to be covered by Fire Station Dimapur West and Chümoukedima.
Fire Station, Dimapur West personnel who were on duty during the last 10 days will be in isolation/ home quarantine. In case of any symptoms developed during the course of home quarantine, they are directed to report to the competent authority for testing and further medical check-up, a circular from the Directorate informed.
The present duty personnel will not leave the jurisdiction of Fire Station and are directed to get themselves tested for COVID-19. The 2nd OC has also been directed to fumigate/disinfect the whole Station premises.
Meanwhile, Inspector A Wati Jamir, OC Dimapur Central has been directed to provide logistic support to personnel under isolation at Fire Station, Dimapur West including ration and basic amenities.
