Approves LADP, opening of new schools, registration of societies

Dimapur, August 14 (MExN): The Dimapur District Planning and Development Board (DPD) meeting was held on August 14 in the conference of DC Dimapur.  

According to a DIPR report, during the meeting, the house approved the LADP schemes 2018-19, compiled with a view to uplift the lower strata of the society, and decided to send to the State Planning Board for approval.  

On the agenda for opening of new schools, the House passed for approval of the following: VB Infant Digital Home (Pre-School) at Kevija-u Colony; Zakierhi Shuya Memorial School, Chümoukedima village; Veneiye Public School, Razaphe Basa. With regard to the agenda for upgradation of schools, the Board decided to take up in the next sitting after re- verification from the district administration.  

On the agenda for registration of societies, the house decided to approve to the government, for registration of Institute of Naga Studies, Dimapur and Nagaland Ayurveda & Folk Medicine Society Dimapur as all the documents was found in order. For the rest of the societies seeking for registration the House informed the concern society members to explain their aims and objectives during the next meeting.  

In the meeting Medical department and district Agriculture office gave their departmental presentation. Deputy Commissioner office was entrusted to present their departmental activities in the next meeting.  

Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel informed all the HODs to be present in the ground by 8:30 am for successful celebration of Independence Day.
