Two police stations in Dimapur – East and Diphupar Police Station – have been temporarily sealed after three police personnel tested COVID-19 positive in the TrueNat screening.
According to a Dimapur police official, the stations were sealed as a precautionary measure on August 13 evening. The police personnel reportedly came into contact with COVID-19 positive persons but could not be ascertained from where.
The official added that one was of East PS and the other two of Diphupar PS. Their TrueNat screening result came on August 13 evening and confirmatory result was being awaited.
“We are expecting the confirmatory results by tonight (August 14),” the official told The Morung Express.
