Dimapur, September 29 (MExN): The Dimapur District Excise raided several liquor joints along the National Highway 29 stretch starting from Purana Bazaar to 7th mile on September 29 and arrested five persons in this connection.
Superintendent of Excise & Prohibition T Arilong Longkumer informed in a press release that altogether 369 bottles of assorted Indian-made foreign liquor (IMFL) were recovered during the raids.
The arrested persons have been booked under the relevant sections of the Nagaland Liquor Total Prohibition Act, 1989, it added.
