Dimapur, March 27 (MExN): The Dimapur HIV positive Women Association (D+WA) was launched on Saturday at Tourist Lodge Dimapur by Chief Medical Officer, Dr Mereninla Senlem on March 27. It was attended by 70 positive women members of the Association.
Along with the CMO, Deputy CMO, Dr Antoly Swu, Nukshila Aying, President Dimapur Baptist Women Union, Kitoshi Zhimomi, President Rotary Club Dimapur also attended the event along with Sisters from Chavra Home, delegates from Akimbo society, Bethesda Youth welfare centre, Guardian Angel and Prodigals Home.
People in Need Foundation (PNF) Chairman Joe Ngamkhuchung in a press release said that the foundation which initiates and promotes the positive women association, arranged hand sanitizers, masks for the participants. PNF Chairman also presented a packet of COVID personal protection equipment (PPE) containing 26 sets to the CMO.
