The team from department of Land Resources, Dimapur during their visits to Longkhitpeh, Angangba and Hackchang villages in Tuensang district under IWMP (PMKSY) WDC on February 18.
Tuensang, February 27 (MExN): The department of Land Resources, Dimapur led by District Project Officer (DPO), Acato Chishi visited Longkhitpeh, Angangba and Hackchang villages in Tuensang district under IWMP (PMKSY) WDC.
The visiting team interacted with the beneficiary, stakeholders, SHG and elders in the village on February 18.
Sharing observations, DPO Dimapur said Tuensang district is blessed with abundant natural resources and good climate and therefore, urged the farmers to take advantage of the available resources and pick up potential crops like coffee which is suitable for the place.
Meanwhile, welcoming the visiting team, DPO Tuensang, Puthuto Natso said the foot print of the department is felt in the district and the villagers have faith in the department.
The exchange programme is a part of the department’s policy for visitation to different districts to learn and exchange knowledge of the work and activities undertaken by the department in the various districts. Each district is expected to visit atleast two districts within the department by March.
