Dimapur, October 27 (MExN): The Phevima Eco Club conducted a cleanliness drive in Dimapur DC Court office on October 26.
According to updates from the club, the drive began with a prayer by Tutu Kerhuo and was over viewed by Head DB Temsu Jamir and refreshment was provided by the Dobashi Union.
Altogether 25 participants, including popular musician Moko Koza joined the members for the drive.
The Club cleaned the office surroundings, mowed the grasses in the front yard, collected the bottles, plastics and segregated them accordingly. The biggest challenge faced in cleaning the compound was in clearing the waste in between the office buildings and the backyard, which were full of unhygienic substances and in large quantity, that it was beyond the capacity to clean it manually with limited resources. Nevertheless, the members gave their best in making it as clean as possible, the release stated.
The PEC requested everyone to be responsible and sensible enough to keep our public places clean.
