DIMAPUR, MAY 24 (MExN): With the closing down of the police check gate at Chümoukedima, the Dimapur Police today informed that restriction of entry of heavy vehicles to town area will continue to be imposed as before in the NH-29, and from Tragopan Point to Dellai Gate within Dimapur town limits. The restriction will be imposed on the locations and timing as follows: Near Patkai College Junction/Chathe Bridge (9:00am to 3:00pm; Dellai Check Gate (9:00am to 7:00pm); and Newfield Check Gate (9:00am to 7:00pm). The restriction will be imposed on all heavy vehicles including local trucks. The restriction is imposed in the interest of public safety and convenience and to ensure smooth flow of traffic during the peak hours, the Dimapur Police stated.
