Director of I&C Bendangliba retires

Kohima, June 4 (MExN): The Department of Industries & Commerce bade farewell to its Director, I Bendangliba on May 31 at the directorate conference hall, Kohima. According to a DIPR report, the programme was attended by Advisor, Industries & Commerce and NIDC, Imnatiba as special guest, Commissioner & Secretary (I&C) Lithrongla G. Chishi, officers from the Corporations, officers & staff from the districts and a host of guests.  

Bendangliba in his speech thanked God for bringing him thus far and retiring in good health. He urged the employees to work diligently and sincerely and to bring laurels to the department.  

Imnatiba in his speech congratulated the retiring Director for the successful completion of 35 years of service and wished him a happy retired life and also welcomed the incoming Director Er. S. Temsulong Jamir. He further called upon the officers and staff to value sound relationship and work in co-ordination, which he said is the only beauty of living in this temporal world.  

Lithrongla G. Chishi applauded the retiring Director for his dedication to the welfare of the Department.  

Speeches were also delivered by incoming Director, Er. S. Temsulong Jamir, Addl. Director, C.M. Lotha, Managing Director (NIDC), Yamathung Lotha, SDO, N. Patton, General Manager, DIC Wokha and T. Moawati Ao, Jt. Director & President NICGOA. Hokishe Assumi, MD NHHDC chaired the programme.
