Disciplinary actions for going against party directives: JD (U)

DIMAPUR, APRIL 21 (MExN): The Janata Dal (United) Nagaland unit has expressed regret that some of its members have cast their votes against the directives of the party at the April 19 parliamentary election to the lone Lok Sabha seat in Nagaland. 

In a press note, the JD (U) Nagaland unit said disciplinary action will be taken after proper assessment of the voting patterns and results. 

It, meanwhile, expressed profound gratitude to all the supporters who have faithfully adhered to the request of the party and cast their votes in favour of the NDPP candidate Dr Chumben Murry. 

“Your support with votes will surely strengthen the PDA/NDA alliance as the nation gears towards Modi-3 after June 4, 2024, the press note stated.
