Dimapur, October 25 (MExN): A team comprising officers from District Administration, Police, Food & civil supplies, Legal Metrology, IOC Officials and DBs inspected the petrol outlets in Dimapur town and Chumukedima on October 25.
According to a DIPR report, the main objective of the inspection was to check fuel adulteration, density, quality, quantity, facilities for consumer such as clean toilets, drinking water and free air refilling etc. Inspection was done on fuel quality, density and temperature and filter paper test.
During the inspection, SDO (C) Dimapur Zubenthung Ngullie directed the petrol pump proprietors without drinking water facilities outside the petrol pump to install drinking water within a month's time and also informed them for improving the quality of the toilets.
The petrol pumps which were visited were found to be within the permissible limit on fuel quality.
