District Hospital Tuensang to get ICU

DIMAPUR, MARCH 30 (MExN): In a novel initiative, the Tuensang Chamber of Commerce & Industry (TCCI) has successfully initiated and completed the installation of an Intensive Care Unit at District Hospital Tuensang.  Funded purely by well-wishers, the project was completed at a cost of Rs 1. 20 crores and will be formally inaugurated on April 2. President of TCCI, L. Dorothy Chang said the project was completed in a span of four months. TCCI started raising funds for the project since September 2018 last.  The ICU is equipped with state of the art equipments including utility rooms, ICU cabins, air conditioning, ECG, infusion pumps, suction apparatus, patient monitors, defibrillator, ventilator and oxygen generator with nebulizer.  The ICU will be formally inaugurated by Inspector General of Assam Rifles, Maj. Gen. PC Nair, YSM.
