Participants of the ToT on U-WIN which was held in Longleng.

LONGLENG, JULY 16 (MExN): A one day district level Training of Trainers (ToT) on U-WIN was conducted on July 15 at the Conference Hall, Office of the Chief Medical Officers office Longleng.
The training was organized for the Medical Officers (MO’s), Social Welfare, Nagaland State Rural Livelihoods Mission (NSRLM), Epidemiologist, Community Health Officer (CHO’s), Vaccinators, Staff Nurses, Block Program Manager (BPM’s), Block Asha Coordinator (BAC).Introduction was given by Dr. Imnameren Phom DPO(RCH/UIP).
In the opening remarks, Dr Tiasunep, CMO, Longleng emphasized the importance of the U-WIN program and urged all the participants to actively participate and attentive for the successful implementation of the program in the district.
Dr. Imkongtemsu Longchar, SIO, gave an overview of U-WIN, stating that the U-WIN app is a platform to register and vaccinate any pregnant woman, record her delivery outcome, register every new born delivery, administer the first dose and all vaccination events. He said the system will allow planning of vaccination sessions, updating of vaccination status digitally on real- time basis from the last mile of service delivery by the vaccination, recording and reporting of all data for the UIP.
The resource persons were Dr Imkongtemsu Longchar, SIO; Kingson Kamkara, SPO, UNDP; and Rajesh K Monsang, RPO, UNDP. The participants were trained on U-WIN; workflows of U-WIN on different admin modules like facilities and users creation, mapping, integration with other portals, session planning and session management, case studies and hand on practice, self-registration module and delivery point module.
