Kohima, September 17 (MExN): The District Legal Services Authorities conducted various legal awareness and activities since the beginning of September month.
A press release stated here that the Wokha DLSA created an awareness campaign on Fundamental Duties on the theme 'With Rights Come Responsibilities imposing similar responsibilities on every citizen to protect and improve the natural environment including the forest, lakes, rivers and wildlife and to have compassion for living creatures.
As part of the campaign, Wokha DLSA led by Khrievono Seletsu JMFC/Secretary Wokha DLSA, Panel Lawyers Gracy Ezung, Renbonthung Tsanglao, Echungthung Ezung, Meribemo A Lotha Retainer Lawyer, Shanchobeni P Lotha, District Project Assistant, WDLSA, Para Legal Volunteers Daisy Tungoe and Mhajamo Khuvung planted tree/fruit samplings at Mount. Tiyi Wokha. Banner on Fundamental Duties was also put up for awareness of the trekkers and visitors September 12.
The Tuensang DLSA Legal Aid Clinic held an awareness program on Nagaland Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Scheme conducted on September 13 at Shamator Town. Altogether 93 person attended the program.
