Dimapur, March 25 (MExN): Following the representation submitted by poultry sellers of Dimapur on March 12 to the Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) for enhancement of rate for poultry items, the DMC has revised the rates.
The DMC Administrator Albert Ezung in an order said that the revision is done after through deliberation and taking into account the existing rate of poultry in Assam.
The revised rate is maximum rate fixed by the DMC which is strictly to be followed by the poultry sellers, the order stated. The DMC Administrator also cautioned that failure to comply with the order, it will take appropriate action as per the provision of Municipal Act which may lead to cancellation of trace license and imposition of heavy penalty. “The rate will be enforced with immediate effected,” he added.
