Dimapur, October 10 (MExN): DMI St Joseph Global School (SJGS), Dimapur observed the World Mental Health Week by virtually conducting various activities on October 10. Students were educated on mental well-being by the class teachers, a press release received here stated.
Activities for students such as slogan writing for class KG to III, poster making for class IV to VI and Story-telling by the teachers for class VII to X were conducted.
A slogan read ‘Mental Health is not a destination, but a process. It is about how you drive, not where you are going.’ Another slogan read ‘A healthy mind signifies a healthy body.’
The junior classes came out with posters on the theme. A poster read ‘Make your mental health a priority’; another read ‘To be healthy as a whole, mental wellness plays a role’ and yet another poster read ‘A healthy mind is the greatest treasure to find.’
For the senior classes, the class teachers, embarked on the story-telling activity on the theme. Hovitoli for class VII, Zulotola for class VIII and Wekhrolou and Tolino for classes IX and X respectively.
“The school guided teachers to inculcate in students the importance of mental wellbeing for life and academics through this activity,” the release added.
