Dimapur, November 20 (MExN): A courtesy meet between Karbi Students' Association and Dimapur Naga Students' Union was held at Rains Hotel, Khatkhati on November 20.

“In the meeting both the student bodies strongly appealed both the Government of Assam and Nagaland and the Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council to take the border issue with paramount concern,” stated a joint press release on Friday.

The two organisations cautioned that it would “take action against any individual trying to instigate the situation/issue for their own personal gain.”

“It was a courtesy meet, therefore no resolution was made, however, it was decided to work hand and hand with peaceful means and to maintain strong and brotherhood bonding between the two brothers of Karbi and Nagas,” the release stated.
