Do you support the decision of Nagaland government to urge the Ministry of Home Affairs to exclude the State from purview of Protected Area Permit (PAP)? Give Reasons

Yes:
•    Yes, the Nagaland government must not only urge but must write a strong letter of protest against this unreasonable decision of the Home Ministry to impose the PAP on Nagaland. The entire state government including the MPs must impress upon the Home Minister to exclude Nagaland from PAP.
•    Nagaland has been peaceful for some years ago. The peace process with Center and the reconciliation process among the factions have borne some fruit. It makes no sense at all for the Union Home Ministry to reintroduce the Protected Area Permit (PAP) on Nagaland. Or does this mean that not all is well and that the Home Ministry is taking precautionary measures.
•    Yes, for once the Nagaland government is right. The imposition of the Protected Area Permit came right after the Hornbill Festival. The imposition of PAP is like a slap on the state government, which has been ardently following the BJP govt in Delhi. The state government should open their eyes and realise the agenda of the center.
•    World is already advancing
•    Nagaland is not Manipur, what is happening there is a local issue which is being made into an international one. What foreigners are involved in the local troubles in Manipur? How is this effects Nagaland? Why is not Assam as well be included into the purview of PAP? Since it like Nagaland and Mizoram has boarders with Manipur. When we look at the reason for the government of Manipur asking PAP to be implanted we find no justification for it. Unless they want the injustice not to be published overseas for some reasons. Even then there is no reason as any events can be published overseas without foreigners being present.
•    PAP is normally applied only by people from countries other than the neinbouring ones. Reintroduction of PAP is against the interest of tourism and in effect against the GOI's Act East Policy.
No:
•    National security is more important than tourism which benefits only some few individuals in the commercial and capital district of Nagaland.

Others:
•    Nagaland does not deserve to have the protected area permit imposed on the state. Today, our state is so much more peaceful in many parts of India. It is discriminatory to have this permit sanctioned in Nagaland.
