Mokokchung October 7 (MExN): The Transmission Division Mokokchung under the Department of Power Nagaland (DoPN) has announced a monthly-long vegetation clearance for 132kV and 66kV Transmission Lines under its division starting October 20.
Accordingly, there will be total localised shutdown of power from 8AM to 4PM daily, based on the location and coverage of each transmission lines to facilitate smooth execution of the works, informed an official release.
The exercise will end on November 22. The department urged to all public in the affected areas to extend cooperation and bear the inconvenience during the shutdown period.
