
Kohima, May 21 (MExN): The Power Department Junior Engineers’ Service Association (PDJESA) has resolved to keep in abeyance its proposed democratic protest in the form mass casual leave pending a crucial meeting with all the stakeholders on May 28. This was resolved during an emergency meeting of the PDJESA executives, stated a press release from PDJESA General Secretary Er Razouvoyi Francis Rhakho and Vice-President Er Medozhazo Rutsa. However, the members will continue to wear black badges till the crucial meeting for further course of action, it said. Showing resentment against the lack of career progression, the Association had earlier informed that it would be resorting to democratic forms of protest from May 19 by wearing black badges for 3 days, followed by mass casual leave for 3 days.
