Peren, February 6 (MExN): Advisor Water Resources, Namri Nchang chaired the Peren District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting held at DC's Conference Hall, District Hq. Peren on February 6.
According to a DIPR report, with regard to shifting of Peren Government College, the Principal was entrusted to work out the requirements and the Advisor requested the HODs of different Department to remain supportive for the proper and effective implementation of the proposed Peren Government College shifting programme.
The board discussed on establishment of District Jail at Peren Hq. and entrusted Dy Superintendent of Jail Peren to come up with a proposal basing on Land Possessing Certificate and forward to the concerned department for further necessary action.
As entrusted by the Board in the previous DPDB meeting, Technical Assistant (REB) Peren, Vivian Solo and District Sericulture Officer, Yingsungbeni Ngully enlightened the board members with departmental activities.
In the meeting, Urban Planning activities which were undertaken were also highlighted by SDO (C), LRSO and Urban Development Officer.

For the next meeting, the Department of Statistics was directed to give a PowerPoint presentation on their departmental activities.
