Dy CM inaugurates Chukitong Block Community Hall

Dimapur, March 8 (MExN): Coinciding with the tour of the 37 Tyui Assembly Constituency which he represents, Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton inaugurated a Community Hall at Chukitong town.

According to a press release from the Dy CM’s Media Cell, the hall was donated by the Dy CM. During the day long visit to the villages, Patton met with the public, village councils, elders and party workers in the Chukitong range which comprises of five villages and Chukitong town.

In his speeches, the Dy CM said that during the last one year developmental works came to a grinding halt due to the global COVID- 19 pandemic. He however, assured them that the PDA government under the leadership of the Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio is committed for the welfare of the people and that the present government is stable and for which it will complete full term. Patton also said that when development projects are earmarked, it is for the people. “There is no ruling or opposition development,” he added. The Dy CM also assured to take up all their genuine grievances to appropriate authorities in the government. 

As per the release, the citizens of Chukitong range acknowledged Patton for taking the initiative in various developmental activities particularly for Chukitong range. The  Dy CM was accompanied by Wokha Superintendent of Police, EAC Chukitong, BJP state officials, BJP Wokha district Officials, party workers and well-wishers, it added.
