Wokha, August 3 (MExN): Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton said irresponsible government servant should take stern and immediate action.
A press release issued by the Media Cell Deputy CM office stated that Patton while addressing as a special guest during the Lotha Students' Union office inauguration on August 3 at Wokha said, besides the government effort to improve the quality education to the government schools, most of the government schools in the state continue to produce nil result.
However, he stated that irresponsible teachers are to be blamed to a large extend for the cause, therefore he urges the student’s leaders to thoroughly inspect and check the irresponsible teachers. Patton also added that most of the departments in districts headquarters and sub division are becoming non resourceful and not meeting the public services due to negligent of the officers, therefore in those regard he urge the district administration authority to be vigilant to those department and report to government for further course of action.
The deputy chief minister has also seeks cooperation and support from the NGOs and civil societies in order to serve the public at the larger interest. However, he also asserted that public should not always criticise the government for any mistake or failure but, should also learn to inculcate the habit of appreciating, when the government is working for the welfare of the people.
He also appealed, to the district administration and to all the Lotha frontal organizations not to allow any new constructions at the stretch of national highway-2 from Longsa gate to Mokokchung, as he stated that unnecessary compensations will hamper any further developmental activities. Y. Patton stated that, the amount has been already earmarked and the construction work will take up at the earliest. Later the deputy CM has also inaugurated the newly constructed LSU, Office building.
Phukayi, advisor, Food & civil Supply, NSDMA and LM&CP, exhorted during the inaugural function said, the Lotha tribe are achieving in many of the competitive fields, further he encourages the Lothas upcoming generation to uphold the competitive culture in long run.
The advisor has also dwelt on the present Naga context, stated that present Naga generation are heading nowhere, due to lack of unity and disintegration. However, he stated that Nagas need to learn socially and politically how to live together with positive attitude.
Subenthung Lotha former President, Lotha student union, also speaks on the occasion. Welcome address was delivered by the President of LSU Libemo Lotha, further he acknowledge the district forest department for donating the LSU office building site. Meanwhile, LSU office Building was officially dedicated by Rev. Nyanchumo Lotha, Executive Secretary, LBES.
