Dimapur, June 25 (MExN): East Dimapur Town Council (EDTC), Administrator, Mhalo Humtsoe has informed all resident within the council’s jurisdiction that the Council will be conducting solid waste management at home crash course training to promote a cleaner and healthier environment.
The Administrator has directed that during the training, one member each from every household should compulsorily attend as a representative. The training will be conducted in a phase manner within the ward. All the trainings will start at 9:30 am.
The crash course will cover essential topics such as the importance of waste management, types of waste and their environmental impacts, waste segregation, recycling and composting techniques, and responsible waste disposal practices.
After successful completion of the training besides free dust bins for wet waste and dry waste collection, a Certificate of Participation will be issued to all participants, bearing a code number which will be required for all services that a resident avails from the EDTC and GBs.
