Phek, December 29 (MExN): The Zhavame Students Union held its 62nd general session 2021 under the theme ‘toward proficiency’ at the Public Amphitheatre, Pame Tsüdu Zhavame on December 29.
Addressing the inaugural session, former Minister and Executive Member of SCAN, Nagaland, Deo Nukhu recalled the state of education in the village during their time and how it has progressed over the years especially in the last two decades. He said that the growth of education is also visible in the development of the village in different areas.
Emphasising that education does not end with students earning their degrees, he said that “it is a lifelong process.” In this regard, he impressed upon the gathering that they must continue to develop their skills even after their formal education.
He further encouraged the students to broaden their horizons while choosing their careers and not just limit themselves to following the general trend of getting into government service.
