ENPO declares non co-operation against NSCN (K)

Dimapur, March 16 (MExN): The Eastern Nagaland People’s Organisation (ENPO) has resolved to declare non co-operation against NSCN (K) with immediate effect, stating that the group has violated the continuous efforts of ENPO, FNR and the tribal bodies for Naga reconciliation. The decision was taken in an emergency meeting held on March 15, informed a press release issued by ENPO President P. Pongom, Vice Presidents Yonglong Konyak and Chingmak. The ENPO stated that it has seriously viewed the continuous killings of GPRN/NSCN cadres at Mon district by NSCN (K), as it violates the 18th December 2007 resolutions, where the Eastern Naga National Workers Association (ENNWA) of the then undivided NSCN (K), Eastern Naga National Workers Union (ENNWU) of the NSCN (IM), NNC/FGN of the six (6) tribes of the ENPO area along with the ENPO, Frontal Organisation and the Federating tribal unions of the ENPO were signatories for maintaining peace and non-violent zone.
