In a press release appended by its Vice President Hamnyei Angh and Assistant General Secretary Kumcho Khiungphu, the Federation informed that the resolution was taken at the emergency Presidential meeting held at Tuensang Headquarter.

The ENSF along with its 6 federating units- Confederation of Chang Students’ Union (CCSU) Khaimniungan Students’ Union (KSU) Konyak Students’ Union (KSU) Phom Students’ Conference (PSC) United Sangtam Students’ Conference and Yimchunger Akheru Arih-Ako (YAA) resolved to consider the appeal letter from cabinet sub- committee P&AR Department issued on December 7.

“Consequent upon the letter received from the Cabinet Sub-Committee P&AR, the ENSF have decided to temporarily suspend its agitation,” the release stated.

The Federation further set a deadline for the cabinet to fulfill its charter of demand (NSSB&NPSC) before January 10, 2021.
