Entrepreneurs in Nagaland call for improving road connectivity

Entrepreneurs in Nagaland called for improving road connectivity in the state.  

In the form of recommendation arrived at the recently concluded Nagaland Entrepreneurs Meet 2018 under the aegis of Industries & Commerce department and YouthNet, it also called for creating a better system of motivation towards a healthy work culture, better internet connectivity, create MoU with underground factions – ‘do not tax new entrepreneurs for first 3 years’ and more regular electricity (electrification to more rural areas).  

In the form of branding and marketing, it also recommended for improving skill set and capacity building of entrepreneurs, value chain of bottling, packaging, pricing and the entire output of the final product/ service and creating value and push from Government for local brands.  

In term of access to finance, it recommended for opening entrepreneurship facilitation cell, association of business, maintain common database to identify and track defaulters.  

It also recommended that banks need to introduce fast tracking of micro loans, standardization of documents, ease and reduce time of processing contract, financing loans etc and start-up policy for Nagaland.
