Dimapur, November 4 (MExN): The Excise Narcotic Cell enforcement duty party along with DNSU office bearers and executive members conducted joint ‘surprise raids’ on booze joints and restaurants in different pockets of Dimapur town on October 31.
A press release from Dy Commissioner of Excise (NC) received on Wednesday informed that a total of 734 bottles of assorted Indian Made Foreign Liquor during the raid.
Seven persons were also arrested and penalized as per the relevant section of the Nagaland Total Liquor Prohibition Act, 1989, it added.
