MON, NOVEMBER 22 (MExN): The Power Department has informed that there will be extended shutdown of power supply in Mon town from November 23 to 26. A press release from Er Ahoto Aye, Executive Engineer, Transmission Division, Mokokchung informed that this is due to erection of towers at 66kV receiving end bay at New 66/11kV 20MVA Mon Powerhouse under NESIDS. In this regard, there will be extended total shutdown of power along 33kV Mon Feeder from November 23 to 26 from 5:00 am to 9:30 am. The department has appealed to the public in the affected areas to extend cooperation and bear the inconvenience during the shutdown period “as we make our best efforts to complete the project in time.”
