Farm School on Mixed Farming inaugurated in Dimapur

Dimapur, August 29 (MExN): ATMA Dimapur, Aghunaqha Block inaugurated a Farm School on Mixed Farming on August 29. Chuba Yimchunger was appointed as a farm school teacher.

Inaugurating the school as resource person, Waty Jamir, AFA, Aghunaqa Block, Department of Agriculture urged the farmers to coordinate and work together to increase their income. 

Vinatoli, BTM explained the concept of Farm school and the role of Farm teacher were explained to the farmers. 

A demonstration on chilli and radish was conducted at Hukai village with Dr Rovizelhou Kuotsu, ATM as a resource person. He showed a practical demonstration on nursery raising of chilli and radish. He also explained the methods of proper spacing, application of farm manures, irrigation and management of pest and disease.
