Kohima, August 5 (MExN): Farmcraft Enterprises, a store dealing in agricultural/farming tools and accessories, was opened in Kohima on August 4 at Secretariat Road, below SBI.
According to a press release from the store’s proprietor, Likhampi Sangtam, the store was launched with an objective to make farming less laborious and more accessible to today’s techno friendly generation.
It was inaugurated by V Kashiho Sangtam, Minister for Soil & Water Conservation/Geology & Mining/NSMDC with a dedication prayer by Rev. Imti, Pastor, Sangtam Baptist Church, Kohima.
Likhampi, an MBA graduate, is a certified dealer for STIHL, a German manufacturer of chainsaws and other handheld power equipments, including trimmers and blowers, the release mentioned.
He along with his working partner Sanket Singhvi, through the store, also deals with farming and gardening tools manufactured by Green Mall, Concorde, and Falcon companies.
The store also provides after sales services. Wholesale service (in bulk) can be availed from the store too, the release informed.
It was further highlighted that the salespersons of the store are all local youths, “with an aim to help unemployed youths to carve a niche for themselves in the long run.”
