Dimapur, July 31 (MExN): The Kedahge of the Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN), Brig (Retd) S Singnya, has issued a suspension order against three FGN functionaries for a period of six months with immediate effect from July 30.
According to the order, the action was taken under the executive powers vested in the Kedahge by the Yezhabo of Nagaland, citing the alleged use of "forged/fake government letters/pads" and "misuse of powers and functions."
The officials placed under suspension are Hukato Yeptho, Medical Kilonser; Akheto Sumi, Deputy Kilonser; and Selithre Sangtam, Secretary. The order further stated that "all other activities and financial related matters earlier assigned to them stands nullified till further order," and that the suspension will remain in force for six months unless otherwise revised.
