Dimapur, May 23 (MExN): Volunteers of MGOS Church and St Thomas Mission Society, Dimapur packed food items and handed them over to Lipok Ao, who is working with Solidarity and Action Against the HIV Infected in India (SAATHII) to be distributed among the People Living with HIV and LGBT community residing in Dimapur.
Food kits were also distributed at the door step of few COVID-19 affected families of Dimapur, Fr Dr P S Varghese, Secretary St Thomas Mission Society informed in a press release on Sunday.
The society is also providing tele-counselling and essential medical kit distribution in association with other church organisations of Dimapur, the release informed. MGMHSS teachers also donated their one day salary for the food kit distribution charity.
