DIMAPUR, JULY 27 (MExN): Dimapur police on receiving information that four miscreants were demanding Rs. 10,000/- as yearly tax under threats and intimidation to some construction workers at Sovima village near Rio Villa apprehended the miscreants on 27/07/11 when they came to collect the extortion money. This was informed in a press note issued by Dimapur’s Additional Superintendent of Police and PRO Dimapur. The arrested accused have been identified as SS Sgt Maj. S Philip Tangkhul (40 yrs) of NSCN/GPRN (IM), Highway Command, S/o- Ramyekhang Tangkhul of Kesomkholan Village, Ukhrul and a resident of Diphupar-B; Kezeneilie Solo (26 yrs), S/o – Late Neithoulhulie Solo of Kohima village, T Khel and a resident of Diphupar –B; Khriesaneisa Rio (21 yrs), S/o- Zaprio Rio of Chiechama Basa and a resident of Sovima, E Khel; Pouguangrei Rongmei (29 yrs) S/o- Makulie of Longjen village, Tamenglong, R/o- Diphupar-B. A case has been registered at Diphupar PS against the accused and investigation is going on, informed the press note.
