Wokha, February 25 (MExN): A one-day workshop on ‘Free Being Me – Action Body Confidence’ (FBM-ABC) and online youth membership (OYM) organized by BS&G Wokha was held at WDVDBA & WDVCCA Multipurpose building on February 25. 

During the workshop Imlikala, State Coordinator, explained the concept to the participants and encouraged them to feel proud and happy about their appearance. This workshop will immensely boost body confidence and support children and young people to advocate on body confidence issues in the community, she added.

Altogether 215 scouts and guides and 30 unit leaders attended the workshop. In the later part of the session, online youth membership (OYM) registrations for unit leaders was also organized. 

Simultaneously, an induction programme was also held at the DC’s Official Chamber Ngusazolie Rhetso, Assistant DEO was inducted as new District Chief Commissioner BS&G Wokha by John Tonchimong, SOC (S) Nagaland.

It was followed by a discussion and meeting with state officials. During the discussion Vimezhou Tetso BS&G state organizing commissioner (G) highlighted the activities being taken by the state BS&G. She shared that children from 7-14 years and 11-25 years of age should be imparted FBM-ABC and the workshop is open to all, she added.

Summing up the discussion the DC and district president BS&G Wokha Orenthung Lotha acknowledged the difficulties in implementation of the concept and encouraged the association to do their best in disseminating and instilling ideas in children from all walks of life.

The induction programme was presided by Zuchobeni Ezung, Chairperson LEH cum VP BS&G Wokha and introduction of state and district officials was done by T Zuchanthung Lotha, ADOC (S).
